In the Eastern tradition, apsaras are female spirits of clouds and water, shapeshifting, celestial beings that dance in the court of Indra.   Apsara is an avant-garde  Colorado bellydance troupe, comprised of long time friends Chaya, Tirzah and Mehrnoosh.  Trained in Middle Eastern Dance, the three women bring decades of solid dance technique blended with modern fusion and other styles, and a dash of cheek.   You may have seen them at such events as Shimmy for the SafeHouse, StarFest, MileHiCon, Daku Con, the annual Thornton VFW USO show and various local performances.  These celestial dancers are sure to entertain, inspire and bring a smile.
